Saw this at sprouts this week and it had me very curious. Fat free, all natural brownies that use yogurt and you can make single servings in 60 seconds??? OKAY! Things are going surprisingly well! I have crossed the hard "first week" hump, and feel like I am getting in a groove with it. Doodle bug was a champ at his first doctor's appointment!  Patiently waiting for the doctor even though it was time to eat...... and he even took being stripped down in the cold room well. He weighed in at a whopping 7lbs 10.1oz and measuring 21.25 inches! I think I am going to have a BIG doodle bug on my hands in no time!!...although, he hated the weigh-in process.

For Little man's birthday, his nana and daddy red made him a sandbox and grammy and poppy bought him a new swimming pool. This means tons of outdoor fun for little man!! My car got "sick" recently, and by sick I mean that everything needed to be changed, fixed, flushed, and tuned at once. {isn't that how it goes?} Thankfully I have a super handy father-in-law and husband! Little man wanted in on the action, and proved himself to be quite the handy Manny himself!  Changing my breaks like a pro!

Did you know that Home Depot offers a children's workshop the first Saturday of the month? Complete with free apron, all the supplies you need for the project, and a snack/drink! Daddy took little man this Saturday and look at how cute this picket fence planter turned out!!! {... this face says it all...}

I first want to take a quick second and thank God that I am still pregnant and in a much safer "window" to deliver! In fact, next week I am considered "full term!" I am in that stage where I am "done" being pregnant. I am miserable, huge and feel like I weigh a good 400lbs even though I have only gained 22lbs so far this pregnancy. I find it super hard to get comfortable at night to sleep,

Today, the family got down and dirty in the yard to do some much needed lawn maintenance. While I was detailing the car and getting the baby stuff installed inside, little man just couldn't resist helping daddy with mowing! It was the sweetest thing- he was so serious doing it too! He took every single step that daddy did, and even corrected daddy when he didn't go the right way!

For a fun playgroup this week, we decided to go to the zoo! Five mamas and seven kiddos made up our group and we had so much fun!  The kiddos started by talking to the birds that talk back They tried climbing everything that was able to be climbed Little man has to give each statue a big hug- such a lover! After a picnic lunch, some of the mama's left to get the little ones back for naps.
