Patman Wedding

Our second wedding of our little wedding season was one of a dear friend from as far back as I can remember. We that are close to her call her Tae Tae, and she was one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen!

No detail was spared

The cakes were wonderful

The bride and groom were so in love

and so much fun to be had!

Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!

Dedication {with a sneak flash}

In our church we have baby dedications. We don't baptize infants, rather, we commit as parents of this sweet baby and a body of believers, to instruct this child in the way of the Lord. This is such a sweet time for our family. A great reminder at what a sweet gift children are and what a weighty responsibility it is to constantly point them to Jesus and his love.

Our sweet little family
so so thankful for them!

Pastor Bruce lead our dedication
He has been in our lives before the two sweet kiddos on our hips!

Now, not to switch the tone, but while editing the photos I found something that I didnt notice when uploading . While Pastor Bruce was praying over our family and praying for the Lord to call our sweet bug to know him, Little man turned around to peek and make sure mama and daddy had their eyes closed.

Then turned around and pulled his shirt up!!!
What a sneaky little flasher!!!!!!
I cannot believe he did that!!!
What a stinker!

Here is a family shot

What a blessed day!

Quick trip home

I miss my family and it is very hard to live this far from them. I do, however, love that I can pop over to visit and be back home in the same day!! This weekend we went to visit my mom {grammy} and Mimi and even squeezed in a trip to my brothers to see him and my niece!

The boys got a chance to snuggle up with Mimi!

she seemed as smitten as they did!

Perfect opportunity for little man to share his latest favorite bed time story...

Then sweet A got to love on "her baby" when we went to visit my brother, Uncle J! She LOVES doodle bug and was so so protective of him. She hated when we had to leave!!

Love our quick trips home!

Ft. Worth Stockyards

While shooting my SIL's engagement photos, little man wanted in on the action, and didn't like not being the center of attention {he gets it honest *blush*}.

Here is little man "being a longhorn" after the herd passed through the stockyards.

During the shoot he would climb up on something and yell, "Look mommy, take a picture of meeee!"

and cracking up at something daddy said

or kissing daddy as I instructed my SIL and her fiancée to kiss...hehe

and since steffy was soooo pretty, he wanted his photo with her too :-}

My mom drove up and joined us for lunch to love on those boys!

Grammy got little man a longhorn balloon hat that he LOVED! Lunch was supa yummy Texas sized goodness!

We got to see the train come through and this cute little man pushing the crowds back.

Then we played around with the cute photo props!

Ridding the wild horse

some rodeo clown he would be...hehe

Great family day :)
Thanks Grammy for joining us!!

Vacation #1- Swimming @ Grammy's

On the third day of our first summer vacation, we spent a fun low-key day at my mom's {Grammy} house swimming and grilling out.

my little dare devil tested my sanity {no thanks to daddy}

Sweet A spent her time in the kiddie pool instead

She saw little man jumping leaps and bounds
decided to give it a try
and even after my help and coorsion
decided that swinging was more her style.

Mom and I sat outside and visited in the heat.
Be careful mentioning the need to cool off....hehe

Later that night, my brother J and Mimi came out to eat and celebrate Mimi's birthday

and of course the boys squeezed in a nap ;)

Later that night when the house was quiet, bellies were fed, and sun had cooled, our cute little family went for a late night dip!

it was doodle bugs first swim! He didnt know what to think of it at first, but I think he kind of liked it!

can you guess which parent is the neurotic one?
of course! ME!!
