Ornament exchange

We just celebrated our annual ornament exchange with the wonderful ladies of our church. This is something we do every year to kick off the holiday season with great food, crafts and a fun white elephant ornament exchange. We had it a little earlier this year to have the chance to make our Christmas cards too!
The night began with food and hanging out.

The top broke off of the wine bottle so they had to filter it through a coffee filter.
{LOL}

The 3 preggos!

Belly shot!
I am 3.5m, Jo is 6.5m and Maria is a tad over 6.5m

Then we had craft time! Here Amy is showing us how to use the embosser!

Time to draw numbers and steal those ornaments!

This is the ornament I made for the exchange

This is this ornament I took home- I love it!!

Then we visited until almost 1am! LOL! That is what we do kid-free!!

Grammy Visits

My wonderful mother came to visit and help elevate some of my motherly/wifely duties and rest since this pregnancy has been tough so far. It was so great having her here and little man could not have been happier!

I took these photos while on an afternoon walk

12 Weeks Pregnant!

This month brought a few milestones! I was able to feel that sweet little "butterfly flutter" at around 10 weeks. It was a great reminder that out of the sickness and exhaustion, a sweet beautiful baby is going to come from this. We are still 80% sure it is a girl and this sweet baby will hopefully cooperate at the 16wk appointment and we will know for sure!
I have been "sick-free" for around 2 weeks now!! I still feel nauseous daily, but no sickness here! I am praying that this is a sign of things to come, and that the last 2 trimesters will be a bit easier.
Little man is calling my belly by the girls name we have picked out and just when I think he is starting to get it, he points to his baby in his tummy! LOL!

I have started an inspiration board for the future nursery if it is indeed a girl. Here are some of my ideas:

Bedding: I am going to make the bedding and I LOVE this fabric collection!! It is Natura by Alexander Henry. I love the vintage yet modern feel of it and how it doesn't scream baby girl {baby pinks/purples}. It will grow with her and be super different than any other nursery!

Furniture: White with crackle finish! I think that will make this bedding pop and make the nursery clean and fresh looking!

Decor:

http://www.spearmintbaby.com/2009/09/featured-nurserylittle-girls-room.html - this nursery is GREAT!! I am going to recreate that chandelier but with the colors in the bedding. I love the eclectic mix of toys and old books as well as the owls- I LOVE OWLS!!

I love how crisp and clean this looks! I love the pom pom fringe on the curtains!

This is the tree that daddy will paint on the wall!

I am going to sew an alphabet quilt in the rooms colors!

mobile i am making!!

mirrored wall butterflies!
