HALLOWEEN

This year for Halloween, we went over to our good friends to hang out, eat pizza, and trick-or-treat! This was little man's first time out trick-or-treating and he LOVED it! It was a nice low-key night and we had lots of fun as a family.

We're having a....

Our Results...

We are having a GIRL {maybe}!! The test is 80% accurate and would have defaulted to "boy" if the test had not taken correctly! We are super excited at the thought of having a sweet little girl added to our family!

We will of course know at our 16wk or 20wk appointment when the gender is confirmed with a sonogram, but a little "peek" was nice!!

What are your favorite girl names??

Halloween Parties!!

Our first Halloween party involved a playgroup with a bunch of kiddos from church. There was a great turnout, tons of fun and games, and yummy food!

We brought "Witch Fingers" which were tiny stuffed calzones that looked like cut off witch fingers.

Pumpkin Patch

We went back to the same Pumpkin Patch this year because, quite frankly, I just don't think it gets much better than this one. The pumpkins are arranged so cute and there are TONS of places to take photos! Little man loved playing on the giant hay stack and in the row of bounce houses too!

{ i love fall }

Say Anything S.2 E.5

Little man in recent review
**********

  • He is now starting to put complete sentences together and bring up topics out of the blue like such a big boy.
  • He has been so sweet and patient with me during these rough first 2 months of pregnancy. He will spend an hour or 2 reading books in his room to let me rest and will cuddle up on the couch with me when I am sick. The other day, he saw that I had put a cold rag on my head after getting sick, and the next 4 days would bring me a rag and say "mommy's sick." {heart about melted}
  • He is really dramatic {just like his mama}! One day I asked him if he wanted to go help me put up laundry in mama and daddy's room. He followed behind me and upon entering our room, and noticing the huge pile of laundry on the bed to be put up, he collapsed on the bed sighing "oh my goodness!" LOL
  • We started taking him to "My Gym" a great kids gym. We decided to put him in the class up one age group from where he should be. This was a great decision, as he thrives being challenged and is great at shadowing older kids. He loves going and every time we get in the car he asks "Gym?"
  • He kisses my belly every morning to kiss the baby and insists that the baby gets a turn after everything he does.
  • He is really into pirates lately and so we decided we were going to be a family of pirates for halloween this year.
  • He loves watching football with his daddy! We have been to 2 games so far and he sits on the edge of his seat the whole time! The band is his favorite part!!
  • He loves talking to strangers. We were eating at Cheddar's the other night and he preformed for our table neighbors the whole time! He counted to 11 and sang his abc's and all!

State Fair

This was little man's 3rd year to attend the Texas State Fair here in Dallas. This was my sweet nieces first time to go, and they were both at great ages to not only enjoy the fair, but have fun together!

Big Tex

The kiddos cuteness in their little sunglasses

We went to see the Pirates of the Caribbean show

Little man wanted to do this spiderweb course with a bounce house slide with daddy. It was a lot of hard work for daddy...lol!

Then we stopped off at the kids farm!

Sitting with Grammy in front of the fun dancers

Fun times at the kiddie land in the carnival area

Now for the fun food! We of course had a Fletcher's corn dog, but Grammy and I got our favorite- peanut butter, banana and jelly sandwich. Daddy ate a turkey leg like a caveman!!

They wrap the fair up with a fun filled parade!

Last stop: Petting zoo!!

It is so fun to see little man grow up each year and enjoy these events in such different ways!
