36 Weeks Pregnant!!

Photobucket

Photobucket

I first want to take a quick second and thank God that I am still pregnant and in a much safer "window" to deliver! In fact, next week I am considered "full term!"

I am in that stage where I am "done" being pregnant. I am miserable, huge and feel like I weigh a good 400lbs even though I have only gained 22lbs so far this pregnancy. I find it super hard to get comfortable at night to sleep, and when I do I quickly wake up to go potty! I am still throwing up like a crazy person- yes, even with phenergan that I am taking. I am just so ready and anxious to meet this little guy! He is so active in the womb, that I just know I am in for it! He is still head down and pretty low in my pelvis {which is super painful} and weighs a good 6-6.5lbs right now! His room is ready, as well as all of his goodies I wanted to make sure were made for him when he arrived- photos are coming I promise! I am just so blessed to be carrying this sweet baby and can't wait to meet his face!

You can see more of my maternity shoot here!

Maternity Photo shoot ~~Project 365: Week 12

This week, for our project 365 theme, we had to capture self portraits. I had the idea to shoot my own maternity shots of myself and my family.

Mowing with Daddy

Today, the family got down and dirty in the yard to do some much needed lawn maintenance. While I was detailing the car and getting the baby stuff installed inside, little man just couldn't resist helping daddy with mowing! It was the sweetest thing- he was so serious doing it too! He took every single step that daddy did, and even corrected daddy when he didn't go the right way!

Zoo Playgroup

For a fun playgroup this week, we decided to go to the zoo! Five mamas and seven kiddos made up our group and we had so much fun!

The kiddos started by talking to the birds that talk back

They tried climbing everything that was able to be climbed

Little man has to give each statue a big hug- such a lover!

After a picnic lunch, some of the mama's left to get the little ones back for naps. Tracy and I stayed and let the boys splash around in the water. Little man's swimsuit kept slipping down and his cute little crack was showing! {of course, I am the mom that snaps the photos instead of pulling them back up- LOL}

The little man wanted to play "spiderman"

Then we got changed and went to feed the birds! One hopped up on little man's shoulder and ate his entire feeder stick! He was such a big boy and stood so still without freaking out! I was so proud!!

How fun was that?? The kids were thought to go through it once and be done with it. An hour or two later, they were STILL going through it! Fun times!!

We had yummy dirt cake full of worms

Little man LOVED it! He kept saying "worms??? sick!" and then would take a big bite!

We got the girls Toy Story and Toy Story 2 along with movie tickets to Toy Story 3!

Carnival Fun

One of the fun perks of moving to a small suburb is the cute little carnivals that come through. We were invited to tag along with a great family, dear friends of ours, to one that popped up right around the corner.

Being so pregnant, I couldnt enjoy the rides so I hung out with little Zeke while the others had fun on the rides!

Carnival's are known for bringing out the "child" in you, but it is even greater of an experience looking at it through your child's eyes!
