Weekend with Daddy Red and Nana!

This weekend we went to visit Daddy Red and Nana!

Little guy loved to look at Daddy Red's fish and even got to help feed them!

It was really neat to see him enjoy the toys that his daddy used to play with!

Throwing leaves in their huge back yard was super fun!

After a long day of playing, he snuggled up in the Daddy chair with his Daddy Red!

I got tangerine tea, a honey stir stick, key chain lip gloss, matchstick wild flowers, a yummy tin candle, thick warm socks, tiny colored pencils and a cute note pad to create in, a small angel, heart tissues, 3-in-1 Vietnamese coffee that is now my favorite, a pretty glass to get my water in each day, a BEAUTIFUL gauze scarf, hand lotion, a make up bag, Hersey kisses, toffee and for my little guy a Madison Douglas wooden puzzle, bubbles and little coloring pencils!

Homemade Mama!

This weekend I went fabric shopping {blush} and got some really cute designer fabrics for my store. I also got supplies to make R some soft soled "robeez" style shoes! How cute are they?!

I love being able to make R clothes and such. It is not only easy on the pocket book, but a great sense of pride to look at your son and think, "hey, i made that!" Homemade is always preferred!

For Valentine's, J and H watched our little guy so we could get a nice date! We went to downtown McKinney and walked around the square. I found a quilt shop i fell in love with!

We had lunch at this yummy diner called Hirby's!

Valumtimey's Playgroup

Today we celebrated Valumtimeys (Valentine's) Day with our church family at the V's house! A and D joined us with R's besties H and J! So cute! They had a blast, even though we had to leave before the crafts!

Adventures with sidewalk chalk

This week at our Dallas Playgroup we took the kiddos to play in the beautiful outside. Sidewalk chalk made the day perfect and kept those tiny hands busy.

While watching H as his momma had work training, R pulls out one of his favorite books.


I walk up to R turning each page, "reading it," and H laughing hysterically.

They entertain each other pretty well and apparently R is quite the storyteller!

Mr. Fix it

We got these great shelves from Ikea, and little man just had to help Daddy put them up!

He did so good too! He was concentrating really hard and acted like he knew exactly how to do it. Our very one little Mr. Fixit.

MySpace Hair

B and I out of boredom, decided we would flat iron his shaggy do. We laughed and called it "MySpace hair!" LOL. It looked good, but he still needs a hair cut!

After stumbling upon i can officially say i am hooked! Swaps are SOOO much fun and who doesn't love snail mail!

My first swap was "favorite things swap."
