Before my sweet husband had to start back teaching school, we wanted to take our dear friends the Shives family to the zoo with us! I was a nice way to endure the hot hot hot Texas weather and watch the cute kiddos play!

Can we talk about this photo?? O M G! This is seriously the sweetest photo I have ever seen! I am going to frame it!!!
Then we rode the monorail {or the train as little man calls it}. We Got to see all of the African animals and nice views too. The breeze sure helped kill the heat a bit as well!
Then we went to the petting zoo! Little man stood by the pigs and horses for a long time just watching! He loves those animals!
They got to pet a bunny! They were so sweet with it!
Great way to end the summer! We are so thankful that we have those passes to enjoy the summer with friends all year long!

I agree that the holding hands picture is the sweetest picture ever! You absolutely must frame it, it's adorable. :)
