Kelly over at Kelly's Korner does a little segment each Friday to show where you live! I have hopped on the train a little late and probably wont stick to her schedule, but I will each Friday show you a different room in my house! We are in the process of house hunting, so we will be leaving our great little apartment of 3yrs in a few months! This is a great way for me to remember the place we brought our beautiful little man home to!
Since we were out on the town this Friday, I am playing catch up! Tonight, I will show you our living room and bedroom!
Living Room:
this is the front door and the basket we leave the dirty shoes in. I don't let shoes walk on the carpet- kinda a germaphobe!
entertainment center where everything is at, and everything can be hidden ;-)
we aren't big drinkers, but we love to have dinner parties so this is our little bar we made from ikea parts...lol
this is our 1950's original Drexel sectional we got at a hip vintage store- we.love.it!
gotta have storage in the tiny Dallas apartments!
love my ikea shelves!
Master Bedroom: {we need to work on this a bit more}
jewelry chest and closet door
crazy full book shelf
platform bed and ikea everything
I took fabric scraps and filled this frame for a custom look in the frame
i love our ikea mirrors above our dresser!
these candle holders are from our wedding!
this is our door stop ;-) it was my great-grandmothers iron!! i love it!!

I freakin love your couch! that door stopper is pretty awesome too! I am sure you have noticed, but I have those vases from IKEA on my shelves in my living room too! You have good style!
So many neat ideas! I was happy to get to see your sectional you have told me about!
A) I LOVE YOUR COUCH!!!! If it is ever stolen you will know where to look - ha!
B) I love love love the frame and fabric over your bed!!! We have platform bed and I have been trying to figure something to go over it and I love this idea!!!
Thanks for sharing :)
Love your couch, too!!! Vintage rocks.... D'Ann- if it's ever stolen from YOU after you've snagged it, you know where to find me! :)
Your house is adorable. I'm not sure how you're planning on keeping/preserving/etc your wedding dress- but I was thinking about doing the "fabric in a frame" with pieces of mine- it would be great over a master bed! :)
